  • The Museum is open on Saturdays during the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day) from 11 am - 3 pm.

  • If you have something that you are interested in donating to the Museum, please send an email to lewareahistsoc@gmail.com with the name and any pictures of the item.

Seeing a need preserve the rich history of the Lewiston area, the Lewiston Area Historical society was formed in order to ensure that the current residents and visitors to Lewiston would always have a connection its past.

Founded in 1975, the Lewiston Area Historical Society (LAHS) works to preserve, educate and inspire, we maintain the Lewiston Area Museum and CCC Camp Lunden, as well as providing educational programs about the people, events, and institutions of the entire Lewiston area community.
